Jodi Ridgway
Jodi Ridgway is an Executive Advisory Board Member with About The Kids Foundation, Registered Nurse, Researcher, and is currently working on a research paper as Co-Author with Joseph A. Ekman.
A devoted wife of 25 years and mother of two incredible children, Jodi has a nursing career spanning over 35 years.
Currently, Jodi is the Assistant Manager for the Outpatient Surgery Department at the Los Gatos El Camino Hospital campus. She has held this position since 2009. Before becoming a part of the management team, Jodi had trained in multiple areas of nursing, such as Dialysis, Endoscopy, Critical Care, Pre/Post Surgery, and Home Health.
Jodi started her professional career in 1979 as an EKG technician, before becoming a Registered Nurse at the highly acclaimed, Magnet status El Camino Hospital in Mountain View and Los Gatos, California.
Jodi loves the management aspect of nursing, yet she remains extremely focused on patient care, evidence based practice, and patient safety. Jodi strongly believes in, and advocates for, the mission of El Camino Hospital. Their mission is “to be an innovative, publicly accountable and locally controlled comprehensive healthcare organization that cares for the sick, relieves suffering and provides quality, cost-competitive services to improve the health and well-being of our community.”
Jodi was born and raised in Silicon Valley, where she continues to live with her family. In her free time, Jodi enjoys golfing, softball, skiing, boating and watching the sunset.
